From Dr. Lisa Sanders's long-running column for The New York Times Magazine comes a new Netflix show, following patients with unusual symptoms and mysterious illnesses as they search for answers.

The right diagnosis can change lives. For the parents of a sick child, it could mean not having to operate on their music-loving daughter's brain, risking making her mute. For a nearly bankrupt young woman, it could mean an end to medical bills — and knowing she can have a child without fear of passing on crippling muscle pain.

All seven episodes are available on Netflix. Watch them now.
